Although he’s busy chasing criminals and saving the world, James Bond is a thoroughly British chap. Food is as much part of the novels as guns, alcohol, exotic women, villains and travel.
007 has eclectic tastes and is often eating in far-flung places, he savors his favorite foods and drinks as much as an adrenaline rush. Ian Fleming said that he wanted to stimulate his readers, right down to their taste buds.
So, when we were deciding our last chapter of Cork & Cuisine of the year we wanted to take that literally and give our patrons a 007 inspired menu to close the year .
Featuring a new theme each month, the series aims to pair exquisite wines from all over the world with some of the city’s top culinary dishes prepared by Chef Antonio De Angelis and wine pairings by Willow Park Wine & Spirits.
